We Do Recover

Our vision is to create a recovery housing environment that is safe and supportive of individuals who are in recovery. Our environment creates a structure that prevents return to use and recidivism, and promotes overdose awareness, medication assistance treatment, and peer support. We support legislation that is outlined to improve resident care for individuals who are suffering from a substance use disorder and who are in need of a safe environment that supports recovery.

Our Services

Our services are produced by trained professionals who are credentialed by the state of Kentucky and their respective boards. We have a diverse team of individuals who specialize as licensed professional counselors, social workers, certified drug, alcohol, and peer support specialists, target case managers, and licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselors.

Vision Statement

The vision of Recovery Now is to provide a wide range of effective outpatient services to clients in need. We seek to empower clients to make the necessary changes to recover from the disease of addiction.

Our model, Stabilization to Self-Actualization

We have a unique model that helps our clients transition from a crisis state to mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. We provide intensive outpatient treatment in conjunction with transitional housing. We believe in giving our clients the opportunity to recover while adapting to the environment.

Executing a vision…

Creativity, innovation, and the vision to do something for the community of Louisville and the state of KY was the binding glue that brought me and others together to work on this project. When we sat down at the table together and compiled our assets; hope, recovery-experience, desire, and courage along with a spark of passion, that morphed into what we know as Recovery Now.

One of the pivotal and meaningful moments of this journey was choosing a name for our vision. Our first choice was Second Chance, and we quickly found out this was a common name for what we are trying to do. After further assessment of the name Second Chance, we concluded that we all had multiple chances in life, 2nd ,3rd ,4th , 5th , and so on. Therefore, we did not want to be known as a second chance organization because it may take several chances for individuals to get where they need to be in life. We considered our strategy more in depth. Our key focus is to be ready and available for individuals and families when the need for recovery calls. The window for recovery opens and shuts in a moments notice, therefore it is vital to reach the sufferer without delay.

We decided that when someone calls out and the question of when comes up the answer is always NOW. Now is always a good time to let the healing begin, not in an hour, tomorrow, or next week, but now! Therefore, the name Recovery Now has a vision, purpose, and meaning. Thank God, friends, and family for supporting us on this journey and may God, friends, and family continue to support us. We together along with the help of God will defeat and overcome addiction as know it!
